Unlike some of the other songs on this album, this song's meaning is more abstract, it doesn't mean one thing to me. It represents several different things at different times, but the overlying theme here is that the things that you love have the capacity to destroy you.

I wrote this on Oct, 31st, 2014. I don't recall writing it about anyone in particular, the words flowed through me onto paper. I had vivid sleep paralysis dreams for several nights after I had written it. So I physically lived what I had written about after I had written it.
